Description

Ensure Your Seeds Thrive with Espoma Organic Seed Starting Mix

The Espoma Organic All Purpose Seed Starting Mix is specially formulated to provide the ideal environment for seed germination and root development. This premium potting mix is enriched with Myco-Tone Mycorrhizae, a natural additive that promotes robust root growth and enhances moisture retention. With a composition of 80-90% Canadian sphagnum peat moss, perlite, limestone for pH adjustment, and yucca extract, this mix guarantees healthier, more resilient plants.

Key Features:
- 16 Quart size, perfect for various gardening projects
- Made with organic ingredients, ensuring no synthetic chemicals
- Contains Myco-Tone Mycorrhizae to promote root growth and development
- Ideal for starting seeds and rooting cuttings
- Improves moisture retention for better seedling health
- Lightweight and easy to handle, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use
- Sourced from Canada, ensuring high-quality materials

Usage Instructions:
For starting seeds, fill a shallow container with the Espoma Organic Seed Starter. Use peat pots or seed starting trays with drainage holes for easier transplanting. Wet the seeds and allow them to drain before planting according to package directions. Place the container in a warm, bright location (avoiding direct sunlight) and keep moist by misting with a spray bottle. Once the plant develops its first true leaves, transplant it into a larger container or outdoors in a prepared bed.

For cuttings, add the seed starter to a clean container and wet the mix. Make a hole with a pencil, gently insert the cutting, and pat the soil to close the hole. Keep the soil moist until roots are developed and the plant can be transplanted.
